Benefits: One-to-Many Email Forwarding
You may create unlimited forwards for email at your domain.
For example, your assistant Stan can get mail, and you get everything else:
Now, from within his personal Gmail account, Stan can send/receive as email@example.com. What if you need a copy of his incoming email too? Simply set up another forward on the same username:
|firstname.lastname@example.org||||me@gmail (your copy)|
(This copies you on what he receives. To a copy of everything he sends as well, ask him to BCC himself on anything he sends — most mail programs can do this automatically.)
You can even multi-forward on the main catch-all forward setting:
|email@example.com||||me@gmail (your copy)|
This can serve as a helpful backup when important email is lost, deleted or filtered out.
